Obituary

Kim Harrell, age 50, passed away after loosing her battle with breast cancer on April 27, 2023. She was born on November 19, 1972, in Los Angeles, California, to her parents, Delores Price Jones and William Harrell.
Kim grew up with her brother, Tony Gibson, and attended Ambler Elementary and Curtis Junior High before graduating from Banning High School in Carson. She pursued several trade certificates before settling on a career in mortgage processing. She worked in several areas of loan processing, and was highly respected by her colleagues for her expertise and dedication.
As a devout Christian, Kim found comfort in her faith throughout her life. She was known for her vibrant and outgoing personality and made friends with everyone she met. She loved to socialize and was often the life of the party. She considered her friends her extended family and loved nothing better than good food, good music, and an occasional whistle concert.
Only recently, Kim bought her first home, which was a dream come. She was proud of her accomplishment and loved to open her home to family and friends.
Kim was a devoted mother to her daughter, Keishawnna Carr, and son-in-law, Brendan Carr. She was thrilled to see Keishawnna marry the love of her life and gave Brendan not only advice but protective motherly warnings as well. Kim was also a loving step daughter to her step father James L Jones and a loving companion to her partner to Paul Saunders.
Kim will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Our

Memories

“There are times,
when you'll need someone,
I will be by your side.
I'll take my chances before they pass,
pass me by.
There is a light, that shines,
special for you,
and me.
You need to look at the other side,
You'll agree.”

“Open Your Eyes”, Bobby Caldwell.
Dedicated to my mom.

“My darling daughter, oh how I miss you. This Mother’s Day was not the same without you here for us all to celebrate. Mother’s Day was very hard. Although, I know where you are my beautiful daughter it is hard. My beautiful daughter you were the best daughter a mom could have. Mommy Loves you.”
